My resolutions for 2019.

I will love technology. (Even more)

• Tech stocks are down but tech is not.

• I will build coalitions of people who are not afraid of technology or the future.

I will stay on course.

• The path to magic is hardly magical.

• I will encounter monsters of self-doubt, naysayers, my own mis-steps and the unknown. I will acknowledge them but not dwell on them. I will enjoy navigating this turbulent voyage.

• I will not celebrate until it is done.

I will measure success in shorter horizons.

• I will recognize that speed is an essential ingredient of success. As essential as data. And tech.

• In this age, a year is too long of a performance period.

I will re-orient my sources of wisdom.

• I will not believe that years equal wisdom.

• I will not mistake gravitas for wisdom.

• I will seek wisdom from those who have the most stake in the future.

I will find new places for:

• Livelier music.

• Smarter reading.

• A better coffee.

• A neater martini.
